DeepState criticized the preparation of Sumy region’s defence

The military analytical public page Deep State has released photos of construction materials that have been stored since winter in the Yunakivka area in the Sumy region and have not yet been used for setting up defense structures.

According to the military personnel present in the area, there has been more than enough time for their installation, but the work has not been carried out.

Furthermore, the authors draw attention to satellite images — the trenches that they attempted to dig there a year ago do not appear to be fully functional positions. Deep State notes that these fortifications resemble "last stand positions," which can be easily destroyed by drones.

This is not the first criticism of the state of fortifications in the Sumy region. Previously, both military personnel and members of parliament pointed out the issues in the region’s defense preparations. Amid the scandal, the Minister of Defense was summoned to the Verkhovna Rada to report, but he has already ignored the meeting twice.
