The death of the F-16 pilot: MP Bezhula accused the command of negligence
MP Maryana Bezuhla accused the Ukrainian command of the "death" of the pilot of the F-16 that crashed today.
“Ukraine has lost an F-16 pilot and another aircraft. If we do not develop drone air defense systems, block their procurement, and at the same time send pilots to shoot down ’Shaheds’, it could mean dooming the pilots and losing the aircraft,” she wrote.
Bezuhla also reminded that the results of the investigation into the first F-16 crash have not yet been published. “And then we can express condolences, of course. We will not forget, we will not forgive, we will pass on a medal to the mother,” added the MP.
Military communities are considering the version of friendly fire - being hit by their own air defense system, which was also trying to destroy the same targets.
The second option is damage from the fragments of a ’Shahed’. Russian Telegram channels claim that the F-16 was shot down by a Russian air defense system in the Chernihiv region.
Nevertheless, none of the versions have been officially confirmed yet, and the investigation is ongoing.
