The commander of the 110th Separate Mechanized Brigade was Serhiy Zakharevych.

This was stated by General Serhiy Sobko.

"Today, a warrior, son, husband, father of three children, my friend — Serhiy Zakharevych... You were the best among us during training, the most gifted. You remained the best later when we became officers. Mattis said that there are two qualities he values most in leaders - aggressiveness and initiative. Oh, that is exactly about you. We don’t have a brighter example of an officer with these two qualities.

You said that luck is fickle, it often betrayed you, bringing many challenges, but you never gave up, kept moving forward, no matter what. Your humor and positive attitude, even in the toughest times, always supported everyone, energized them. Thank you for everything," the statement read.

Let us remind you that Serhiy Zakharevych was appointed commander of the 110th SMB in February 2025. Before that, he held the position of deputy commander of the 33rd Mechanized Brigade.

Serhiy Zakharevych was awarded the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky III degree in March 2015 and the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky II degree in July 2022.
