Individuals who violate military registration rules may receive several fines at once — even three at a time.
This was reported by TSN, citing explanations from lawyers.
In particular, two common grounds provide for separate fines:
failure to update military registration data,
lack of a military ID or temporary military service certificate.
Both of these violations are treated as separate and may result in separate fines.
Moreover, lawyers emphasize that for each absence in response to a summons issued by the Territorial Recruitment Center (TRC), an additional separate fine may also be imposed. Therefore, in the case of combined violations, an individual risks receiving up to three administrative penalties simultaneously.
Let us remind you that the Ministry of Defence previously warned that with the update of legislation, control over the fulfillment of duties by conscripts has been strengthened.
