"Our people at home": Ukraine and Russia conducted a new prisoner exchange
Ukraine and the Russian Federation have carried out a new prisoner exchange.
This is the eighth exchange under the June agreements between the Ukrainian and Russian delegations, reached in Istanbul.
Most of those returned today had been in Russian captivity since 2022. Returning home are our defenders who have defended Ukraine in different regions: Donetsk and Mariupol, Luhansk, Kharkiv, Kherson. These include soldiers of the Armed Forces, the National Guard, the State Border Guard Service, and the State Special Transport Service. As well as civilians.
