In Volyn, a deputy was exposed who was involved in a scheme for evaders. Thanks to his "assistance," conscripts could obtain fake documents and travel abroad.

This was reported by the SSU, according to RegioNews.

Law enforcement uncovered an active deputy of the Volyn Regional Council organizing schemes for evaders. He was part of a criminal group led by a former deputy head of the Volyn RMA, who was previously detained by the SSU.

It is known that the deputy provided conscripted citizens with forged documents. In the "fake" documents, the men were listed as volunteers sent abroad by the Volyn RMA to receive humanitarian aid.

The dealers valued their "services" at approximately 5,000 US dollars. Since the beginning of 2022, more than 100 citizens have been illegally transferred abroad using their scheme.

The deputy has been notified of suspicion. He faces imprisonment for up to twelve years with confiscation of property.
