A major fire accompanied by an explosion occurred in Kyiv.

According to the Kyiv Department of the State Emergency Service, the report of the fire was received at 16:13. Temporary structures on Pukhivska Street caught fire, and the flames quickly spread to nearby parked cars.

Rescuers promptly localized the fire. According to their data, the fire is not related to CHP-6, as previously reported on social networks. The incident occurred in an open area that does not belong to an energy facility. The owner of the site and the causes of the fire are currently being established by law enforcement agencies.

There are no casualties as a result of the incident.
