The TABAKEVICH network may be part of a large-scale electronic cigarette smuggling scheme - investigation

Journalists have announced the start of a public investigation into the activities of the brand TABAKEVICH — a network that is allegedly part of a well-organized, profitable, and likely criminal scheme for the illegal import of electronic cigarettes.

The editorial team is already in possession of documents and photos confirming the existence of a complex logistics structure for the transportation of large batches of "disposables," which are manufactured in China and then routed through Spain, Germany, or Poland to Ukraine. Within the country, the goods are delivered by pallets to major cities — Kyiv, Odesa, Dnipro. The products are also sold in EU countries — notably through messengers.

Of particular concern is the fact that electronic cigarettes are given fake "Made in Ukraine" labels, misleading consumers and concealing the true origin of the goods, which undergo no quality control.

It has been recorded that the isolated seizures of 10–30 boxes at the borders are merely a smokescreen. The main smuggling traffic is carried out by trucks on an industrial scale. This is not about individual transporters, but the activities of an organized criminal group (OCG).

Journalists urge everyone with photos, documents, or other information about TABAKEVICH or any stages of the smuggling logistics chain to provide this data for further investigation.
