Zelenskyy: During the week, interceptor drones destroyed hundreds of "Shaheds"

This information became known from a statement by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, on Facebook.

The President reported that within a week, the occupiers launched against Ukraine:

• over 1800 drones;
• over 1200 air bombs;
• 83 missiles.

"The Russians are increasing terror against cities and communities, trying to further intimidate our citizens," said the president.

He emphasized that despite these intentions of Moscow, the air defense forces achieved significant success.

"Interceptor drones proved to be particularly effective - already hundreds of downed Russian-Iranian ’Shaheds’ this week. And every meeting with partners this week was about increasing the scale of using this technology," Zelenskyy noted.

The President emphasized that the Russians use "Shaheds" as a tool to prolong the conflict. Therefore, it is important to neutralize this threat to resume the effectiveness of diplomatic efforts.

"We expect the implementation of all agreements that will strengthen our defense. We count on decisive actions from the USA, Europe, the G7, and all our partners," the president concluded.
