The occupiers struck Sumy region with "Shaheds"
Today, on July 16, in the morning, enemy forces struck the territory of an enterprise in Sumy with a drone of the strike type.
This was reported by the communications department of the Sumy police.
Preliminarily, as a result of the shelling, an administrative building, vehicles, and 2 private houses were damaged.
No information about casualties has been received.
An investigative team and police bomb technicians are working at the strike site. Law enforcement is inspecting and documenting the impact site, collecting drone debris, and recording the damage.
The issue of opening a criminal proceeding under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (war crimes) is being considered.
Later, the acting mayor of Sumy, Artem Kobzar, reported that during the night and morning, the enemy struck the Sumy community.
"As a result of a hostile drone falling on the territory of a private household, fortunately, there were no casualties. Additionally, a drone strike damaged an enterprise — windows, equipment, roofing, and non-residential premises were destroyed," he noted.
