The Council voted for Sybiha’s reappointment as the head of the MFA

On Thursday, July 17, the Verkhovna Rada, during the approval of the new government led by Yuliya Svyrydenko, reappointed Andriy Sybiha as the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

The results of the voting were reported by Deputy Oleksiy Honcharenko.

It is known that the new government was approved as a package, but the candidacies for the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Defence were considered separately since they are presented by the President in parliament.

For the reappointment of Sybiha to head the foreign policy department, 271 deputies voted.
