Attempted terrorist attack in Odesa: the SSU confirmed the detention
The SSU confirms the arrest in Odesa of a woman with explosives who planned to carry out a terrorist attack at the TRC.
According to the investigation, a 53-year-old resident of Volyn recruited by the Russian Federation had already conducted reconnaissance near the regional TRC, obtained a homemade explosive device, and was supposed to bring a backpack with it inside the building during the day. However, she was detained on the way.
As per the cover story, the woman was supposed to visit the military enlistment office to find information about a supposedly missing nephew.
The explosives were detonated in a controlled manner.
