In Lviv, about 500 volunteers from the "Lev" battalion were mobilized, who participated in the city’s air defence and shot down Shahed-type kamikaze drones.
This was reported by the battalion commander Valentyn Seredyuk.
According to him, the mobilization affected everyone who did not have official clearance or a deferral from conscription.
"We lost a large part of experienced volunteers. It’s now much more challenging to respond to drone attacks," Seredyuk said.
In connection with this, a new recruitment of volunteers to the "Lev" battalion is currently being conducted to strengthen the air defence in the city.
