Zelenskyy announced the introduction of new sanctions against Russia

Zelenskyy announced this in his evening video address on Telegram.

"Russia does not take into account the loss of human lives. They block all information about their losses, but they cannot block objective reality. What the Russian economy feels, how Russian enterprises cease to operate, how Russian logistics suffer losses. Sanctions can work exactly as we need them to. I want to thank everyone in the world today who helps us, helps to end the war," the head of state said.

He emphasized that the imposed sanctions have effectively struck the Russian economy.

"Today, I approved several of our new sanction packages for Ukraine, and relevant decisions will follow soon. I held a special meeting with government officials and the Office team regarding our work on the European direction with partners in the European Union and European countries outside the EU. Several fundamental issues," Zelenskyy stressed.
