Zelenskyy ordered to simplify university admission conditions

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has instructed the government to simplify the conditions for admission to Ukrainian higher education institutions. There is a possibility of introducing a winter admission campaign.

«This morning, we once again spoke with the Prime Minister of Ukraine, our government officials, the Minister of Finance, the Minister of Education, and the team from the Office. We held in-depth discussions with our military commanders. We are ready to take, in my opinion, several important steps.

First of all, considering the wartime conditions and numerous challenges, it is very difficult for everyone, especially regarding admission to higher education institutions. We all saw how it was this summer. Therefore, I have instructed the government to simplify the conditions for admission to Ukrainian universities. An idea has emerged about a winter admission campaign so that one does not have to wait a year if, for some reason, admission was not possible in the summer,» Zelenskyy noted.

The President added that other proposals were also discussed at the meeting. According to him, all of them still require analysis, and decisions will be developed within ten days.
