Denys Prokopenko "Redis" was awarded the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi, II degree
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy awarded the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi, 2nd Class, to Denys Prokopenko, the commander of the 1st Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine "Azov."
This is stated in the presidential decree dated August 15.
The state award of Ukraine, the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi, is bestowed for outstanding merits in defending state sovereignty, territorial integrity, and strengthening the defence capability and security of Ukraine.
The "Redis" Corps is currently holding the defence near Pokrovsk.
