Merz: Meeting between Putin and Zelenskyy may take place within two weeks

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz stated that a meeting between Putin and Volodymyr Zelenskyy could take place within the next two weeks.

According to the head of the German government, during talks between US President Donald Trump and EU leaders as well as Zelenskyy in Washington, a break was taken so that the US President could speak with Putin over the phone and arrange the meeting.

Merz noted that the venue for the meeting between Putin and Zelenskyy still needs to be agreed upon.
