Russian strike on Mukachevo: the number of injured has risen to 19
The aggressor state Russia, during a massive attack on the night of August 21, carried out a missile strike on the city of Mukachevo in the Zakarpattia region. A company producing household appliances was hit, and 19 people were injured.
"At the moment, 19 injured individuals are reported in Mukachevo. Ten people were taken to the local hospital. Another 9 sought medical help on their own," reported the Zakarpattia Regional State Administration.
According to the head of the Regional State Administration, Myroslav Biletskyi, after examination, 6 patients remain in inpatient care:
- At St. Martin’s Hospital – 3 individuals with injuries to the lower limbs and pelvis, 1 – with blunt abdominal trauma, 1 – with brain injury and contusion;
- One patient with shrapnel wounds to the head, eye, and ear damage was transported to the Zakarpattia Regional Clinical Hospital named after A. Novak.
At the scene, outpatient care was provided to 4 more people who experienced acute stress reactions. A psychologist worked with them.
