
From the evening of August 21, Russian occupiers attacked Ukraine with 55 Shahed-type strike UAVs and various types of decoy drones. 46 drones were neutralized, but there were also impacts.
This was reported by the Ukrainian Air Force on Telegram.
"As of 9:00, air defence forces downed/suppressed 46 enemy Shahed-type UAVs and various types of decoy drones in the north and east of the country. Nine strike UAV impacts were recorded at four locations."
The invaders launched their drones from the directions of the Russian cities of Shatalovo, Kursk, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk, as well as from Hvardiiske in temporarily occupied Crimea.
The air attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and unmanned systems, as well as mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defence Forces.
