Russia launched 49 drones at Ukraine: air defence shot down 36

Russia launched 49 drones of various types at Ukraine on the night of August 23. Most of the drones were shot down, but there were also hits.

This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Telegram.

On that night, the occupiers launched 49 strike drones and decoy drones from four directions - Shatalovo, Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk. The attack was countered by electronic warfare units, drone systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defence Forces.

Air defence forces neutralized 36 drones in the north, east, and center of the country.

As reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, there were hits from 13 UAVs at seven locations in Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, and Sumy regions.
