
The U.S. Department of State has approved the sale of another military aid package to Ukraine. Its value is approximately 825 million dollars.

The State Department noted that Ukraine has expressed a desire to purchase up to 3,350 Extended Range Missiles (ERAM) and the same number of GPS/INS modules.
The total cost is estimated at 825 million dollars.

"This proposed sale will contribute to the foreign policy and national security objectives of the United States by enhancing the security of a partner country that is a force for political stability and economic progress in Europe," emphasized the State Department.
The U.S. believes that the new aid package will improve Ukraine’s ability to counter current and future threats by further equipping it to carry out self-defence and regional security tasks. Additionally, the State Department believes that Ukraine will not have difficulties implementing these goods and services into its armed forces.
Ukraine will use funding from Denmark, the Netherlands, and Norway, as well as foreign military financing from the United States, for this purchase.
