Zelenskyy spoke about the situation at the front: The Pokrovsk direction is the most serious
The Pokrovsk direction is currently the most serious on the front, as over 100,000 Russian military personnel have gathered there. There is also danger present in the Zaporizhzhya direction.
This was reported at a briefing by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Zelenskyy highlighted the main directions of the front and briefly described the current situation:
- Pokrovsk direction: the situation here is the most serious. The occupiers have concentrated over 100,000 personnel and are preparing for an offensive. However, Ukraine is aware of this and is controlling the situation.
- Kharkiv and Donetsk regions: the Ukrainian army is active in these regions, making it very challenging for Russian forces.
- Kupyansk: successful search and elimination actions by the Defence Forces. Over the past two days, more than 30 Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups have been destroyed.
- Sumy direction: the enemy is being pushed out.
- Zaporizhzhya direction: few changes, but there is a threat as the occupiers are amassing airborne forces and have already created a significant grouping.
