Russian FPV drones have started striking deep into the Dnipropetrovsk region.
A Ukrainian soldier with the call sign "Muchnyi" reported the first recorded use of FPV drones in the area of the village of Pokrovsk.
According to him, a so-called "mother drone" was used — a large carrier that transports several FPV drones (3-4) over long distances, which then attack individual targets. This approach increases the operational range but makes the attacks less predictable.
"The main issue is still the lack of systematic protection along the routes. On the highways and in populated areas that are already at risk, there is still not enough protective netting, shelters, and covers from drones. This creates vulnerability for both civilian objects and military equipment moving along the roads," he noted.
Pokrovsk is located approximately 20 kilometers from the Russian positions in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
