
In the Obukhiv district of Kyiv region, law enforcement officers detained a local resident suspected of storing weapons and ammunition.
This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Kyiv region.
Police officers stated that in Kaharlyk, a 33-year-old man was at the entrance of a store with an F-1 grenade.
During a search of the man’s residence, police discovered a homemade pistol and 41 rounds of ammunition for it.
The local resident was detained, the evidence was seized and sent for examination. He was informed of suspicion for illegal storage of weapons and ammunition (Part 1 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The man faces up to 7 years in prison.
