
As a result of the night drone attack on Znamianka in the Kirovohrad region, two residential buildings were destroyed, and another 28 were damaged. Footage of the aftermath has been published online.
This was reported by the head of the Kirovohrad Regional State Administration Andriy Raykovych and the press service of the National Police of the region.
"As a result of the enemy shelling in the territory of the Znamianka community, two private houses were destroyed, and another 28 were damaged. In addition, railway infrastructure facilities were affected," the statement said.
According to law enforcement, five people were injured. Four of them were hospitalized, and another victim was provided with outpatient medical care.
In Znamianka, work is currently underway to eliminate the consequences of the enemy drone attack.
Rescuers, police officers, utility services, and specialists from the civil protection department are working on-site. They are assisting citizens, recording damages, and determining the scope of restoration work.
The police have already opened a criminal case under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of the laws and customs of war) and are documenting the consequences of the attack.
