Zelenskyy: 26 countries are ready to guarantee Ukraine’s security

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed the words of French President Emmanuel Macron that 26 countries are ready to "guarantee Ukraine’s security."

This was reported by Zelenskyy on Telegram following foreign visits.

"Alongside us, there is all of free Europe, America, Canada, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and other partners in the world.

Already 26 countries are ready to guarantee Ukraine’s security with actions. I am grateful to all the leaders for our joint work," said Zelenskyy.

At the same time, Zelenskyy noted that "before guaranteeing peace, it is necessary to push Russia towards it."

"Everything possible must be done to make Moscow stop rejecting all peace initiatives and realize the consequences of prolonging the war. Strong sanctions and tariffs – combined European and American efforts – are the key to this. There should be no opportunity left for financing Russia’s military machine. Next, more transatlantic work to make the pressure truly felt," he added.
