The AFU are 60% equipped with Ukrainian weapons, – Zelenskyy

During the full-scale war, Ukraine has reached a new level of domestic weapons production. Currently, almost 60% of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ supply is Ukrainian-made weapons.

This was stated by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The head of state informed that Ukraine is creating new joint weapon production facilities. In particular, our country, for the first time in history, began building a joint factory with Denmark on its territory.

According to the president, this enterprise will manufacture components for our missiles and drones - "weapons that have already proven themselves very well."

"During this war, Ukraine has already achieved the level where almost 60% of the weapons we have, the ones with our soldiers, are Ukrainian-made weapons, and they are strong weapons, with many advanced features," Zelenskyy emphasized.

At the same time, the Ukrainian leader added that there are goals that need to be achieved. He specified that this concerns the production in our country or together with our country of various types of air defence systems.

"This is a challenge. We must come to this. Ukraine has already proven that in weapons production, we are among the best in the world," the head of state summarized.
