A record-fast restoration of train traffic after an explosion in Kyiv region
On the evening of September 14, train traffic was restored in the Kyiv region after damage to the railway infrastructure caused by the detonation of ammunition in a train carrying military cargo. This was achieved in a record short time.
This was reported by the head of the board of Ukrzaliznytsia, Oleksandr Pertsovskyi, on Facebook.
According to him, trains will now operate on their established routes again.
"Moving forward – all trains on regular routes," Pertsovskyi noted.
The head of the Ukrzaliznytsia board thanked all railway teams and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine for the "super-fast record result in terms of restoration under such circumstances."
