«Ukroposta» is not threatened by default in 2026.
This was stated by the CEO of «Ukroposta» Ihor Smilyanskyi in an interview with 24 Kanal.
According to him, talks about the company’s insolvency are exaggerated.
«The likelihood of „Ukroposta“ defaulting in 2026 is zero. There is simply no such risk,» — Smilyanskyi assured.
He also noted that the company’s financial situation remains under control despite pessimistic forecasts.
Ukroposta CEO Smilyanskyi dismissed rumors of a possible company default in explicit terms: «This is bullsh*t.»
This was reported by the media today, referencing the draft state budget for 2026, which states that in 2024, "Ukroposta" recorded a loss of 413.2 million UAH (compared to 796.4 million UAH in 2023).
Liquidity decreased by 9%, and current liabilities exceeded current assets by 3.7 billion UAH.
The liquidity ratio dropped from 0.69 in 2023 to 0.63 in 2024.
Meanwhile, the debt burden remains extremely high — in 2024, the debt-to-assets ratio was 98%.
