In the temporarily occupied Crimea, explosions were heard again on the evening of Monday, September 22. The Russians reported an attack on the "Kacha" airfield.
This was reported by the Telegram channel "Crimean Wind" and the "governor" of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhayev.
At approximately 20:50 local time, the Russian authorities announced an alert on the peninsula. Razvozhayev stated that Russian air defence is operating in Crimea - allegedly, two aerial targets have already been destroyed.
At the same time, the monitoring channel "Crimean Wind" declared that the "Kacha" airfield was attacked in Crimea.
It is worth noting that Ukrainian partisans from the "ATESH" movement conducted reconnaissance on the territory of the "Kacha" airfield in occupied Crimea about two months ago and identified key Russian military targets.
The "Kacha" airfield is a military airfield near Sevastopol in occupied Crimea, which holds strategic importance for Russian forces. It is used as a base for the Black Sea Fleet’s naval aviation and for the deployment of unmanned aerial vehicles, helicopters, and aircraft.
"Kacha" regularly becomes one of the targets for strikes by the Ukrainian Armed Forces due to its role in supporting Russian operations in the Black Sea and on the southern front.
