For 14 thousand dollars, they issued a "white ticket": the prosecutor’s office reported suspicion to a lawyer and accomplices

A lawyer from Zaporizhzhya and two of her accomplices have been notified of suspicion in organizing a scheme for the illegal smuggling of men across the border.

This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General.

According to the investigation, for 14,000 dollars, the suspects arranged for a military conscript to be registered as disabled. «With a fictitious diagnosis, he could obtain a „white ticket,“ which allows unimpeded crossing of the state border of Ukraine,» the prosecutor’s office noted.

As an alternative, they offered illegal border crossing outside official checkpoints. The cost of such a «service» was 8,000 dollars, but it was valid for only one crossing.

Currently, the issue of a preventive measure is being decided. The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by the National Police under the operational support of the SSU.
