
During a massive Russian attack on the night of September 28, the Embassy of Poland in Ukraine was damaged.
As reported by the spokesperson of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Pawel Wronski, in a comment to RMF FM, «a rocket fragment or a small-caliber missile» fell on the roof of the consular section of the Polish Embassy in Kyiv, piercing the ceiling.
«The missile ended up in the kitchen room. No one was injured,» – Wronski clarified.
A preliminary assessment showed that the damage is «not significant.» According to the spokesperson, the incident will not affect the operation of the diplomatic mission: on Monday, the consular section in Kyiv will operate as usual.
