
On the night of September 28, the terrorist country launched another massive attack on Ukraine. In particular, in Kyiv, Russia killed a student of one of the capital’s schools, Oleksandra Polishchuk.
In connection with this, tomorrow, September 29, 2025, a Day of Mourning has been announced at the educational institution, and all entertainment events have been canceled from September 29 to October 3, 2025. Such a statement was made by Specialized School No. 159 in Kyiv, where the girl studied.

"On September 28, 2025, as a result of an enemy night attack on Kyiv, Oleksandra Polishchuk, a student of class 7-B, tragically lost her life. We express our sincere condolences to Oleksandra’s parents and family," the statement reads.
As a reminder, residents of Kyiv are bringing flowers and toys to the site where the 12-year-old girl Sasha lost her life. The child’s life was cut short at the location of a multi-story building in the Solomianskyi district of the capital, struck by an enemy air attack weapon.
On the night of Sunday, September 28, Russian occupiers attacked Kyiv and the surrounding region. Due to falling debris, numerous fires broke out. Residential buildings were damaged, cars and a bread factory caught fire. There are casualties both in the capital and in the Kyiv region. Among the victims is a 12-year-old girl who died in a multi-story building in the Solomianskyi district: rescuers extricated her body from under a concrete slab that had fallen on the child.
