Enemy losses: Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 870 Russian soldiers and 60 units of equipment

Over the past day, from October 4 to 5, the Russian army lost 870 soldiers and about 60 units of military equipment on the front line.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022, to October 5, 2025, are approximately as follows:

• personnel - about 1,115,250 (+870) individuals wounded/eliminated;
• tanks - 11,230 (+4) units;
• armored combat vehicles - 23,299 (+1) units;
• artillery systems - 33,446 (+18) units;
• MLRS - 1,516 (+1) units;
• air defence systems - 1,222 units;
• aircraft - 427 units;
• helicopters - 346 units;
• operational-tactical level UAVs - 66,863 (+320) units;
• cruise missiles - 3,803 units;
• ships/boats - 28 units;
• submarines - 1 unit;
• automotive equipment and fuel tankers - 63,433 (+35) units;
• special equipment - 3,971 units.
