Kharkiv suffered a missile strike: one person injured
On the evening of October 12, the Russian army dropped heavy weaponry on the Kharkiv region. As a result, residents of Kharkiv heard an explosion.
This was reported by the city mayor Ihor Terekhov.
Earlier, a threat of Russian UAVs being used was announced in the city.
The air raid alert in the Kharkiv district has been ongoing since 15:15. The region and Kharkiv were under threat from Russian drones. At 17:34, the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also reported the launch of guided aerial bombs on the region, including Kharkiv.
A few minutes later, at 17:39, an explosion was heard in the city. A guided aerial bomb fell within the city limits of Kharkiv.
The city mayor clarified that, according to preliminary information, the Russians dropped bombs on the Nemyshlyanskyi and Slobidskyi districts.
The head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration Oleh Syniehubov noted that units of the State Emergency Service and emergency medical teams were dispatched to the attack site. It is known that one person was injured in the Slobidskyi district.
