Zelenskyy addressed the Odesa governor and the Commander-in-Chief with a request to assess the necessity of establishing a military administration in Odesa, which would take over the management of the city instead of Mayor Trukhanov.
A petition with such a proposal was created on September 24 and gathered enough votes. Today, the President responded to it.
He noted that such decisions are made based on the recommendation of the regional administration.
«At the moment, no such proposals have been received. Taking into account the above, I have sent letters to Commander-in-Chief Syrskyi and the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Kiper, with a request to verify the provided information and, if there are legal grounds, to take appropriate response measures», Zelenskyy wrote.
