Syrskyi: Strike drones have expanded the "kill zone" at the front to 10 kilometers

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, emphasized that the implementation of strike drones has significantly expanded the so-called "strike zone" at the front, which now covers up to 10 kilometers.

"At the current stage of the war, the realities of the battlefield are defined by strike drones, and the ’strike zone’ now reaches 10 kilometers,"—he noted on social media.

Syrskyi emphasized that in the conditions of modern warfare, drones dictate the conditions on the battlefield, and that military logistics and medicine acquire special significance for the prompt evacuation of the wounded. According to him, the main task remains preserving the life and health of Ukrainian infantrymen.

The commander-in-chief reported that he conducted another monthly meeting dedicated to the medical support of military personnel.

During the meeting, he listened to a report on the use of innovative solutions by the medical service of the 106th Separate Territorial Defence Brigade. In particular, the discussion focused on a system of remote consultations, where doctors from rear hospitals provide medical assistance to military personnel directly in combat areas using portable FMC complexes.

"This system allows for secure online consultations with data transmission of ECG, dermatoscopy, ultrasonoscopy, otoscopy in cases of significant distance from the contact line to hospitals and medical institutions where there are specialized specialists,"—Syrskyi noted.

He reported that the first batch of new medical equipment has already arrived at military units, and its use has yielded positive results.

According to Syrskyi, the experience gained needs to be shared among military units, particularly regarding the use of information and communication technologies, evacuation of the wounded from the battlefield using robotic ground systems, and the implementation of other technological and organizational solutions.
