In Odesa region, a drunk colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine fatally hit a pensioner — he has been detained
On the morning of October 19, a fatal traffic accident involving a military officer occurred in the city of Bilyaivka, Odesa region.
According to local media, 44-year-old Colonel Dmytro I., from the operational department of the OTG "Odesa," while under the influence of alcohol, driving a Skoda Octavia, struck a local pensioner at an intersection.
The impact was so severe that the woman lost her limbs and died at the scene.
The driver was detained, and the circumstances of the accident are being investigated.
