
In the night of October 21, Russia launched a drone attack on the city of Smila in the Cherkasy region. As a result of the attack, a critical infrastructure facility was damaged.
This was stated by the mayor of Smila, Serhiy Ananko.
"As a result of the strike, a critical infrastructure facility was damaged. Fortunately, there were no casualties," he reported.
According to Ananko, drone debris damaged a street transformer, leaving 154 customers without electricity. Currently, specialized services are already conducting repair works.
"The aftermath response headquarters is operating at the Smila City Council base. Residents who have detected damage are asked to contact the local CNAP for assistance in submitting applications to ’E-recovery’," he noted.
According to preliminary data, nine multi-story buildings and ten private households were damaged. Fifty-four windows and nine roofs were damaged.
