Police investigators exposed a Poltava City Council deputy who concealed over 200 million hryvnias in cryptocurrency.

The official and his wife had accounts on an international exchange through which they received cryptocurrency but did not declare it. During the war, the deputy transferred cash to exchange offices for conversion into digital assets.

During the searches, documents, cards, phones, and other evidence of the illegal origin of the funds were seized.
