Zelenskyy presented the "Gold Star" to the family of the fallen Air Force Colonel Maksym Ustymenko
On Saturday, November 1, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented the «Golden Star» to the family of Colonel Maksym Ustymenko of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This was reported by the Office of the President.
«Every defender of Ukraine is a true defender of life. Everyone who holds our positions on the front lines thereby protects all of Ukraine. And where our Ukrainian positions are truly strong, life always prevails. I want to express my gratitude to everyone who fights for Ukraine, diligently carries out combat tasks, destroys the enemy, protects their comrades, and all our people. I thank the families of our heroes for such sons and daughters», – the President emphasized.
The highest state award was presented to Maksym Ustymenko’s son, wife, and parents.
