"No probationary period": Zelenskyy speaks out against limited membership of Ukraine in the EU

Zelenskyy opposed the idea of Ukraine joining the EU with a «probationary period», which is currently being discussed in Europe for new members.

In his opinion, Ukraine is ready only for full membership.

«When it comes to EU membership, it must be full. I believe it is extremely important that equal countries sit at the same table. It is important that they share common values. In my view, you cannot be partially active or half a member of the EU», Zelenskyy stated.
