Battle for Pokrovsk: Russians attempt to infiltrate northern part of city, Ukrainian Armed Forces destroy enemy

Russian occupiers are attempting to advance into the northern part of Pokrovsk, using fog as cover. These attempts are being successfully blocked by Ukrainian forces, who are destroying the enemy.

Situation in Pokrovsk

As reported, search and assault operations, as well as the destruction of Russian units in urban areas, are ongoing in Pokrovsk, Donetsk region.

According to military information, Russian forces are trying to infiltrate the northern part of the city, using dense fog as cover. All such attempts are being thwarted, and the enemy is being eliminated.

The grouping noted that on the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 43 attacks by the Russian army in the areas of the settlements of Shakhove, Fedorivka, Rodynske, Chervonyi Lyman, Nikanorivka, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Dachne, and in the direction of Novopavlivka.

According to preliminary data, over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine neutralized 84 occupiers in this direction, with 48 of them being irrecoverable losses.

Situation in Myrnohrad

The situation in the Myrnohrad area also remains tense. Ukrainian units continue to carry out their assigned tasks and hold their positions.

"The enemy is actively shelling Myrnohrad with guided aerial bombs (GABs). The adversary is conducting intense assault operations, attempting to infiltrate and establish a foothold on the southeastern outskirts of the city," the Eastern Grouping’s statement reads.

The grouping added that the Defence Forces are destroying Russian assault groups using all available means.

Additionally, alternative logistical routes to Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad are being created to ensure uninterrupted supply of Ukrainian units with all necessary resources and timely evacuation.
