Myrnohrad has ended up in the gray zone due to the partial capture of Rivne, – Ukrainian Armed Forces military
Military in Myrnohrad report to the media that all routes out of the city are now in the gray zone after Russians partially captured the village of Rivne — one of the two through which the logistics of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were carried out.
According to a marine officer, this situation has been ongoing for several weeks, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces are suffering losses while attempting to pass through these territories.
In addition, Russian forces are accumulating directly in Myrnohrad. Some areas of the city are on the verge of encirclement.
"The last time we conducted a rotation of personnel using equipment was in mid-November, then at the beginning of December, a few people managed to leave on foot — and that’s it. In November, there was another attempt to pass through Rodynske, but all three vehicles — ours and our allies’ — were destroyed. Now I understand why Pokrovsk fell so quickly, because the same thing is happening to us. There comes a moment when the enemy reaches a critical mass, and that’s it — they are everywhere, and it’s impossible to stop. Because before that, logistics are destroyed, drone operators are targeted, and artillery is withdrawn," the soldier explains.
Thus, for exiting Myrnohrad, only a few kilometers of gray zone remain between the partially captured village of Rivne and the fully occupied Krasnyi Lyman. Rodynske is 80% captured. Airborne brigades attempted to clear this corridor, but there is no information on the results yet.
