Andriy Vavrysh has a certain influence in the Kyiv City Council. Among the deputies who got in under his quota are Yevhen Kuzmenko, who, by the way, is the first deputy head of the Land Commission. And also Mykola Konopelko, who holds the position of deputy head of the same commission.

One could endlessly—and quite justifiably—talk about how Komarnytsky, through the head of this commission, Mykhailo Terentyev, corrupted the Kyiv City Council and resolved land issues. But who would believe that his first deputy and regular deputy were unaware, did not participate in this, and did not receive their share? Of course, they were involved.

Vavrysh was one of those who benefited from this land scheme, being an active member of Kyiv’s land mafia. At the same time, he was cunning enough to act through others’ hands.
