Strike on Pryluky region and border areas: energy facilities, forestry enterprise, and residential neighborhoods damaged

Black metal instead of cars and ash instead of jobs. At 4:51 a.m. on December 23, a Russian drone struck a private technical service station in Pryluky.

The destruction is described by the company’s director, Volodymyr Trach: «A hole in the wall, it hit, everything burned down, the cars burned. Five vehicles were completely destroyed, and three more were damaged.»

The flames and the blast wave were not confined to the company’s territory. The impact was so powerful that it shook the entire residential neighborhood. In the private homes of Pryluky residents, windows were shattered, and building facades were damaged.

For many, this morning began not with coffee but with cleaning up broken glass in their living rooms. Currently, a special commission from the Pryluky City Council is working at the scene. Officials are conducting door-to-door inspections, documenting every damaged meter of facade and every broken window. This is necessary to assess the extent of the destruction as accurately as possible and to provide financial assistance to residents for the restoration of their homes as quickly as possible.

Roman Hohol, Secretary of the Pryluky City Council: «Those affected will be able to apply to the city council for assistance in the form of payments, and they will also have the opportunity to appeal to international and state institutions for compensation for lost property.»

In total, over the past day, Russians delivered 93 strikes on Chernihiv region, with 163 explosions recorded. This was reported by Viacheslav Chaus, head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, on his Telegram channel. Russian drones targeted critical infrastructure facilities in the Pryluky area. For this, the enemy used more than ten "Geran" type drones.

FPV drones attacked Semenivka. An ordinary residential building was damaged.

There was also a strike on a forestry enterprise. Attack drones hit an energy facility in Novhorod-Siverskyi. At least 5 explosions were recorded.
