The situation on the Slovyansk front is escalating: Russia is amassing reserves near Dronivka

The situation in the area of Dronivka on the Slovyansk direction is escalating daily.

This was reported by the press center of the 81st Separate Airmobile Slobozhanska Brigade.

"To capture this settlement, Russia is constantly accumulating reserves in the area of Siversk and deploying dislocation points in the Serebryanske forestry. At the same time, the enemy continues to use infiltration tactics into the interpositional space of the 81st Separate Airmobile Brigade of the 7th Corps of the Airborne Forces," the statement reads.

In addition, the Russians are attempting to cross the Siverskyi Donets River on rubber boats in the coastal area near Dronivka and Platonivka. Subsequently, they aim to conduct sabotage and assault operations in the rear of the positions of the 81st OAEMBr.

"Thanks to the coordinated actions of our paratroopers, we manage to hold back the enemy’s attempts to advance.
Recently, paratroopers of the 81st OAEMBr captured a Russian prisoner who revealed one of the new priority targets in the near future on the Sloviansk direction - to reach Zakitne and Kryva Luka. In the area of these two settlements, there are dominant heights, which the enemy could use as a foothold for regular shelling of Slovyansk, Lyman, and Mykolaivka," the 81st Brigade added.
