Kharkiv Mayor Terekhov reported significant destruction at an infrastructure facility due to today’s shelling.

According to him, the strike targeted a facility that provides the city with heat and electricity.

«Kharkiv is under attack. The enemy struck a critical infrastructure facility in the Industrialnyi district. There is an injured person. The damage is extremely serious - this is not a case where you can "just repair a little and move on." We are talking about powerful strikes on a system that supplies the city with heat and electricity. With each new shelling, centralized provision of heat and electricity becomes increasingly problematic. The energy system is currently in an extremely difficult state: reserves are limited, the load reaches peak levels, and each new damage instantly reduces the possibilities for restoring stability», - wrote the mayor.
