Despite the power outage affecting 60% of the infrastructure, "Kyivstar" maintained the operation of 90% of its base stations, - Komarov

The infrastructure of «Kyivstar» is de-energized by 40-60% in nine regions, stated the company’s CEO Oleksandr Komarov.

However, out of 16.5 thousand base stations, only slightly more than 1 thousand are actually non-functional, as the main network is provided with backup power for at least 72 hours.

"In some regions, according to our internal classification, we are in a state of complete power outage. However, less than 10% of our network is not operational," Komarov noted at the forum in Davos.
