Apartment for 5.3 million and preferential mortgage: the assets of SBI investigator Dmytro Sydorenko
Former SSU employee and current SBI employee Dmytro Sydorenko purchased an apartment in Kyiv for 5.3 million UAH.
In November 2024, Dmytro Sydorenko bought an apartment (83.9 sq. m) in Kyiv. The cost of the property is over 5.3 million UAH. The official acquired this apartment through a mortgage under the “eOselya” program. The mortgage amount is 3.8 million UAH. The remaining sum, namely 1.5 million UAH, was paid by the SBI employee from his own funds.
Starting from 2023, Dmytro Sydorenko, his wife Liliya Sydorenko, and their son Daniel lived rent-free in an apartment (41.3 sq. m) in Kyiv, which belongs to the official’s mother-in-law, Tetyana Nevmzhytska. After purchasing their own home in the capital, Dmytro Sydorenko’s family will likely no longer use Ms. Nevmzhytska’s apartment. By the way, Sydorenko concealed the value of the property owned by his mother-in-law, which his family had been using.
At the same time, since 2019, Sydorenko has been registered in a Kyiv apartment owned by the Main Directorate of the National Police of Ukraine in Kyiv.
In addition, the SBI employee owns a land plot (200 hectares) in Sumy region, which he purchased in 2019. However, Sydorenko does not specify the name of the locality and conceals the value of the land.
The senior investigator of the SBI does not own a personal car. Since 2024, he has been using a HYUNDAI IX35 manufactured in 2013, which belongs to his wife, Liliya Sydorenko. She purchased the car in 2024 for 495,000 UAH. Prior to this, Dmytro Sydorenko drove a car belonging to his father-in-law, Serhiy Nevmzhytskyi – an OPEL ASTRA 1.4 manufactured in 2008.
In 2024, Dmytro Sydorenko received a salary of 1.4 million UAH from the SBI, over 7,000 UAH in social payments, 10,000 UAH as compensation for part of the interest rate on a loan under the “eOselya” program, and 5,000 UAH in income from leasing property to the farming enterprise “SHAIDENKO TETIANA OLEKSANDRIVNA” (EDRPOU code 34593076), registered in the city of Sumy. It is likely that he leases his land plot in Sumy region.
In cash, Dmytro Sydorenko held 20,000 USD, and on a bank account – 708 UAH. Liliya Sydorenko kept 15,000 USD in cash and 20,000 UAH on bank accounts (the total savings of the couple in 2024 amounted to over 1.5 million UAH).
Sydorenko has been working at the SBI since 2018. Prior to that, he was an investigator at the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU). In 2017, while still an SSU investigator, Dmytro Sydorenko submitted as many as 8 declarations as a candidate for positions at the State Bureau of Investigation and the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, ultimately securing a position at the SBI.
